Thanks to the high-speed railway line, you can easily reach Florence by any major Italian city; the Fortezza da Basso is a 2-minute walk from the central station of Santa Maria Novella.
The other two stations in the city of Florence (Rifredi and Campo di Marte), are located ten minutes away from the S.M. Novella, to which they are well connected by local trains and buses.
